Geospatial Project Manager (GIS)- Qatar

Description/Responsibilities

Gannettt Fleming is looking for an Project Manager to lead and manage a nationally mapping project in Doha, Qatar.  As project manager and technical lead, this project manager will be responsible for performing lead analytic work directing major activities and project related tasks to meet budget, time and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Performing and troubleshooting Aerial Triangulation (AT) at various mapping scales to meet stated client standards
• Compile planimetric and topographic data sets
• Calibrate LiDAR data sets
• Suppot estimate development and resource planning
• Provide accurate direction and input on project design, flight planning, control selection and labor estimates 

Job Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in digitial cartography, geospatial analysis, mapping and photogrammetry
• Successfully managed large scale national mapping projects
• Demonstrated ability to lead procedures/process related to mapping of aerial digital images (Ortho, 3D vectorization, DEM, triangulation)
• Familiary with 3D City Models, LiDAR processing for DEM, mobile mapping
• Strong presentation skills, comfortable interfacing with client technical staff
• Must be fluent in English with preference being given to candidates capable of speaking/writing/reading Arabic
