Job Summary
AECOM are seeking a Senior Highways CAD to join our Doha office. This role will lead the production of accurate 2D/3D documentation and robust building information models (BIM) on a project basis with team management tasks within the Highways CAD team.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

 Collect samples to be tested, register, test, store, and dispose of them in accordance with applicable standard laboratory quality procedures.

·         Before each test, ensure each equipment to be used is in good working order and calibrations are up to date; carry out routine maintenance as well as performance checks, when required.

·         Conduct the required tests either laboratory on in-situ, and record the results accurately.

·         Produce test data on standard format worksheets in a precise and timely manner in accordance with standard procedure, and sign the worksheet at the completion of a test.

·         Perform test data calculations, plot results and prepare test reports to be checked by a Senior Technician or Laboratory Manager.

·         After a test, ensure equipment and tools are in good condition, and if not ensure they receive proper attention and rectification; keep superior informed and take appropriate actions. Perform general housekeeping duties in the laboratory.

·         Perform an independent check of test data worksheets completed by other technicians and sign the worksheet as checked.

·         Provide on- the- job supervision and advice to Assistant Technicians when instructed by Laboratory Manager.

·         Escalate unusual findings or difficulty in testing new or varied material or problems that cannot be solved at own level, to superiors well in time.

Hot mix asphalt sampling and testing including binder content and grading, bulk density, Marshall Stability and Flow, Theoretical Maximum Density, Air Voids

·         Must also be well acquainted with Industry Standards against which testing is performed e.g. ASTM, AASHTO, BS etc. and have knowledge of calibration /verification requirements for test equipment.

·         Deputise for the Laboratory Supervisor in his absence for routine supervision, with authorisations for invoicing and contracts being escalated to superiors.

·         Should be able to perform new tests under supervision, with ability to learn the techniques quickly with the aid of Method Statements and Work Instructions and other documents.

·         Use and verify different equipment and tools.

·         Dexterity in handling different equipment, tools and chemicals.

• Ensure that Sub Surface n Division complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across all operations and support function and all projects, to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Required Qualification
Skill set:
• BSc Reservoir / Petroleum Engineering
• Minimum 15 years Reservoir Engineering experience, including proficiency with simulation software (PSIM, Eclipse); volumetric analysis; material balance; well performance & monitoring; risk & uncertainty analysis.
• Recent hands on expertise of Full Filed sector simulation modelling, sensitivity analysis.
• Large development project experience. Oil and Gas in Middle East experience is a plus.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Decision-making and prioritizing abilities.
• Analytical & Creative Bent of Mind.
• Proficient in English.
Work Experience: 15-20 years

Job Summary
AECOM India is seeking a qualified Engineering Geologists for project management consultancy services in transportation railway project in West Bengal.
As an Engineering Geologist you will have the following responsibilities:
• Providing geotechnical design input to engineering projects with a focus on analytical design.
• Undertaking geotechnical desk studies and the derivation of ground models for engineering projects.
• Conducting fieldwork and the production of geotechnical interpretative and design reports.
• Reporting for works including slope stability, foundations and retaining structures.
• Providing technical specification, design supervision, interpretation and reporting of site investigations.
• Client contact and liaison.
• Project management and the preparation of proposals and tenders.
• Supporting your team in relation to line management, mentoring and supervision duties.
Minimum Requirements
For this role, the following will be required:

• Minimum 20 Yrs Total Exp. out 12 Yrs. in NATM Tunnelling as Geologist
• Post Graduate in Geology Engineering
• Experience of working on rail infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with soil and rock description and laboratory testing.
• The role will have a significant site based element and candidates must be able to undertake regular site based work.

Preferred Qualifications
• MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics or similar would be an advantage.
• Chartered Geologist or member of a relevant professional body at Graduate level as a minimum

Description

Monitor:

• Identifying new limestone areas and estimation of reserves identifying the new areas, exploring and estimation of reserves and recommendation for further process
• Compaction of existing mining lands, updating land purchase details Co-ordination with land departments during purchase and compaction of mining lands.  Updation of land purchase details. Digitization of all land documents.
• Complying all legal compliances for smooth operation of existing leases fulfilling all requirements of Govt Agencies. Annual Royalty & Cess audits, maintaining all records pertaining to production, royalty payments etc 
• Liasoning works related to new ML/PL or upcoming leases or existing leases as and when required Application for new ML/PL and follow up with Govt Agencies. Approval and execution of new Leases. Various additional requirements if required for smooth operation of existing leases and clearances for new leases.   

WCM:

• Implementation of 5S.

·         Development of model area.

 

Safety

• No personal injury and Motor vehicle accidents.
• Participation in First party Audit.
• Safety subcommittees and ensuring compliance to recommendations from black and red corner notices.
